Is “Pacific Rim” Gonna Get A Sequel?!?

“Pacific Rim” was one of the most fun films I had seen in the past several years. Guillermo Del Toro knew how to masterfully construct cheer-enducing action sequences featuring larger-than-life robots and monsters. It was truly a visual feast to watch, especially in the IMAX 3D format.

“Jupiter Ascending” Pushed Back Seven Months!

News just broke today that the newest Warner Brothers film by the Wachowski siblings, “Jupiter Ascending,” has been pushed back from it’s July 18th, 2014 release date nearly seven months. The new release date that the film will have is February 6th, 2015. The reasoning behind the delay, according to Variety, has to do with the fact that there needs to be more time to finish the special effects for the film.

This is the second time in recent memory that a major summer blockbuster has been pushed off for several months just weeks prior to their release after Paramount’s “G.I. Joe: Retaliation,” another film starring Channing Tatum. That film was said to be pushed back for a 3D conversion and additional reshoots (which really meant more Tatum). Continue reading

Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt Attending Three Premieres In One Day For “Edge of Tomorrow”

As I am writing this, Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt are attempting to accomplish history in the making. The two actors are attending three premieres of their new film, “Edge of Tomorrow,” which is opening in theaters next week. The premieres began in London this morning, continued on in Paris this afternoon, and will conclude tonight in New York.
