90th Academy Award Nomination Predictions

The 90th Annual Academy Award nominees are to be announced on Tuesday morning at 8:22am EST/5:22 am PST. Before the big day comes, I thought it would be fun for me to share my predictions for what will end up being nominated, the films and performances that could potentially surprise, and what should be considered but probably won’t stand much a chance. I’ll be providing my in-depth thoughts for the following categories: Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best Original Screenplay, Best Adapted Screenplay, and Best Animated Feature. However, I’ll be listing my predictions for all 24 categories. So with that all out of the way, let’s begin!

Top 24 Best Films of 2017

2017 has come to a close and there’s been a ton of outstanding films throughout the year. The films have been so outstanding that it was tough to compile a┬ábest of the year list that didn’t include films like “A Fantastic Woman,” “The Incredible Jessica James,” “Logan Lucky,” “Split,” “Win It All,” “Wind River,” and “Wonder Woman.” That being said, this list of 24 films that did make the cut are all exciting, fresh, and truly special. October 2017 Films Ranked

The month of October has come to a close and I thought it would be fun to share my first of a monthly series of ranking the films released each month. Keep in mind that I didn’t see every movie that was released in October, mainly missing out on “Happy Death Day,” “Only the Brave,” “BPM,” and “Novitiate.” That being said, I saw a good chunk of the films that did release this month, both good and bad, so let’s begin with my ranking of the 11 October releases I saw from worst to best!

Time to continue on with the NYFF reviews!
