Marvel has gone through hell with this “Ant-Man” movie ever since Edgar Wright left the project. There have been several names for directors the studio was interested in including Adam McKay, Ruben Fleischer, David Wain, and Rawson Thurber. For some reason, Phil Lord & Chris Miller were never mentioned, but I digress. Clearly, they wanted comedy directors. Marvel Studios Looking At Adam McKay, Ruben Fleischer, and Rawson Thurber for “Ant-Man?”

After the disappointing news that Edgar Wright (“Shaun of the Dead”) is no longer directing “Ant-Man” for Marvel Studios, everyone’s been curious about who’s going to take over as director. I advocated in my editorial that Phil Lord and Chris Miller (“The Lego Movie”) would be the best choices to direct. Well, it’s looking like that’s out of the question as reports are coming in that  three other directors are being looked at for the directors chair. Continue reading

“Begin Again” Trailer 2 Review

“Begin Again” is the newest film from John Carney, the writer/director behind the Oscar-winning film, “Once.” Back at the Toronto International Film Festival, the film ended up being an audience favorite, back when it was under the title, “Can a Song Save Your Life?” Today, The Weinstein Company has released a short, new trailer highlighting Adam Levine’s song, “Lost Stars.” Here’s the trailer:
