The second trailer has been released for “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” along with four new character posters. You can watch the trailer below:
I am really, really, REALLY not looking forward to this movie. Besides the fact that Michael Bay is producing it, it’s being directed by Jonathan Liebsman, director of the cinematic abomination known as “Wrath of the Titans.” Pair that up with a cast that includes Megan Fox, Whoopi Goldberg, and the fact that Johnny Knoxville is voicing Leonardo, this just had the stench of disaster all over it.
This trailer doesn’t change a damn thing. It actually looks more disastrous than I could have imagined. I’ve never been a fan of TMNT in the first place, but even that had more bearable humor than the jokes in this trailer.
And seriously . . . what is up with that Skrillex music in the background of this trailer? It’s so out of place and makes me even more disgusted with all the stuff occurring on screen.
I’ll probably still end up seeing the movie anyway, but I’m pretty close to just deciding to skip it entirely. So far, I’ve just hated everything I’ve seen coming from it. It’s bad enough that Bay has a 3-hour “Transformers” movie coming out this weekend. But hey, we still need more crap from him.
