The new trailer for Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg’s new, risky comedy, “The Interview,” has been released. You can watch the trailer below:

This trailer to me felt super artsy for a movie starring Seth Rogen and James Franco and was surprised by the lack of laughs in it. That being said, I’m extremely excited to see the movie.

First of all, I gotta give Rogen and Goldberg props for making such a gutsy project like this film. The concept of two reporters being recruited by the CIA to assassinate Kim Jong-Un is absolutely bonkers and is totally something that I see Rogen and Goldberg pulling off. If they were able to make a movie featuring celebrities playing themselves dealing with the apocalypse and pass with flying colors, then they can pull this off.

The style of the trailer looks really cool and inventive. It felt very much like a bigger budget action movie, similar to the style of “This Is The End.” It also had a sort of artsy nature to it that reminded me of “Neighbors.”

The only thing that worries me is that I barely laughed. I’m just hopeful that it’s the fact that Rogen and Goldberg are aiming to hold the funniest moments for when the movie opens. Other than that, very excited to see how this turns out.

What do you guys think of the trailer for “The Interview?” Do you think Rogen and Goldberg are insane for coming up with such an insane premise? Write your thoughts in the comments section.

“The Interview” opens in theaters on October 10, 2014.

Thank you guys so much for reading and, as always, “Follow the Screen, Scene X Scene!”
